RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS :

3. Directs and Undertakes the duties and responsibilities of clinical, public and environmental services,

4. Screens clients, examines and counsels on integrated and Comprehensive SRH Services ( FP,MCH,HIV/STI, CAC and other SRH Services)

5. Diagnose, examines and monitor clients for different SRH problems.

6. Orders laboratory tests and examinations;

7. Prescribes contraceptives and other medications;

8. Provides services and treat clients for on integrated and Comprehensive SRH Services ( FP,MCH,HIV/STI, CAC and other SRH Services)

9. Inserts and removes IUCD, Norplant and assists doctors in voluntary surgical contraception;

10. Refers clients to session doctors as required;

11. Assists in the training of professionals in RH/FP;

12. Provides Comprehensive Abortion Care (CAC)

1. Maintain quality SRH services.

2. Prepares service statistics and participates in research activities;

3. Assists in the requisitions of supplies and medicaments;

4. Prepares lesson plans and gives lectures in family planning, gives guidance and counseling to health personnel drawn from hospitals, health centers, clinics, FGAE and other health institutions;

5. Imparting and demonstrating practical training in family planning clinical services in the Association’s clinic and other such clinics;

6. Prepares lesson plans and gives orientation on different family planning methods to non-health personnel;

7. Identifies pertinent teaching resources and ascertains their availability for the efficient running of different training programs;

Performs such other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned.

Solid experience in inter-governmental processes;

Dedication to the United Nations principles and demonstrated willingness to work as part of a team;

Summary: As part of the Finance Team the Cashier Accountant provides cashier service for the school and supports with diverse financial and administrative tasks to enable the finance team achieve its objectives.Position: Cashier Accountant for an International School
Education: Diploma and above in Accounting
Experience: 2 years preferably in a multicultural environment
Basic Responsibilities:
  • Manage all cash transactions
  • Maintain cash box and safe
  • Collect cash and checks and issue receipTs
  • Making payments to suppliers and other reimbursements
  • Prepare petty cash payments
  • Prepare lunch order invoice and collect money
  • Prepare and submit daily cash balance report
  • Make and provide monthly transaction reports
  • Prepare records and codes of receipts and expenses
  • Prepare deposit slip for all income and deposit at Bank
  • Pay government obligations (tax) monthly
  • Assist in preparing financial reports as required
  • Perform other tasks and duties assigned by supervisor
Other Requirements:
  • Reference from known leaders to SIM
  • Very good command of English language and interpersonal skills
  • Responsible, trustworthy and reliable
  • Very good knowledge of accounting software’s and Ms. Excel. Ms-Word
  • Well organized and ability to act in a professional and ethical manner

Job Purpose:

oversee day-to-day HR operations, serve as analyst/advisor to the Director of Human Resources Department, and problem solving, liaison between HR and key internal and external stakeholders

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • In charge of all over factory HR and Admin management
  • Organize and direct HR operations and activities; advise the HR director on time sensitive and priority issues.
  • Identify, develop and implement improvements in HRIS processes and procedures.
  • Implement general HR direction from the director of human resources department.
  • Provides direct supervision to administrative & HR support staff, may provide indirect supervision to other staff on implementation of company policies.
  • Participate in the planning and management of departmental activities related to employee benefits and workers compensation.
  • Serve as a resource regarding HR policies and procedures; develop, recommend, and interpret HR policies, procedures and processes, as necessary.
  • May participate in employee relations, negotiations, the interest-based process, and activities related to Ethiopian labor relations activities.
  • Serve as secondary contact and liaison for HR operations with internal/external stakeholders
  • Communicate (both orally and in writing) with internal/external stakeholders regarding HR operations, policies and procedures; coordinate activities with other departments.
  • Research legal matters, consult with legal officer and compile information as requested by the director of human resources.
  • Monitor legislation and legal provisions that may affect HR operational processes.
  • Work with other departments on maintaining/revising board HR policies and procedures
  • Review and provide evaluation, guidance and/or training relating to performance of staff, as assigned.
  • Managing labour union
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

  •  University Degree/Masters in Management, Business Administration, Accounting or related
  • 3 – 5 years of professional experience out of which 3 years are in a supervisory role
  • Factory HR Management experience is a MUST
  • Very good command of English

The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) is a joint organization of German universities for the promotion of international scientific cooperation and academic exchange. A worldwide network of 15 DAAD regional offices and 56 information centers support the work of the DAAD head office in Bonn.
The DAAD Information Center in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia is looking for a dedicated and versatile staff for student counseling, administration and program coordination in full time. The position is initially limited until 31st Dec. 2019.
The tasks Include:
  • Advise on study and research opportunities in Germany as well as on the scholarship programs of the DAAD.
  • General office duties.
  • Planning and implementation of information events and fairs.
  • Preparation of publications and promotional materials.
  • Maintaining the website and the facebook page of the Information Center.
  • Maintaining contacts with partner organizations and DAAD Alumni, and
  • Analysis of the Ethiopian higher education market.
Requirements:
  • University degree (at least BA); studies or working experience in Germany is an advantage.
  • Very good communication skills.
  • Knowledge of German language, excellent command of English.
  • Good knowledge of the German higher education system.
  • Good skills in Microsoft Office.
  • Organizational skills, intercultural competence, commitment and resilience. and
  • Work experience in cultural and education sector is an advantage.
Salary is based on the remuneration scheme of the Goethe-institut in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The working conditions are subject to Ethiopian law.
