The International Organization for Migration Special Liaison Office (IOM/SLO) is hiring qualified and experienced humanitarian workers for its offices in Ethiopia for various positions indicated in the table below. Type of Appointment: SVN, Six months with possibility of extension, for all positions

1. Position: Administrative Clerk (Legal Unit)

Classification: General Service Staff: G3

Number of vacant posts: 1

Type of Appointment: Special Short Term, 6 months, with possibility of extension

Duty Station: Addis Ababa

Requirement:

  • University Degree in, Law, or related field of study or a combination of training and relevant working experience,
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience with Government Institutions, International Organizations or NGOs,
  • Proficient in Microsoft windows. Computer literacy: intermediate – level user or higher

2. Position: National Officer – Project Development

Classification: General Service Staff: NO

Number of vacant posts: 1

Type of Appointment: National Officer 6 months, with possibility of extension

Duty Station: Addis Ababa

Requirement:

  • Master’s degree in Political or Social Sciences, international Relations or a related field from an accredited academic institution with two years of relevant professional experience; or
  • University degree in the above fields with four years of relevant professional experience.
  • Experience in liaising with governmental authorities, other national/international institutions and NGOs
  • Experience with project planning, scheduling and deployment of resources, and evaluation and assessment;
